Our Products

Kerrock

Key Factors for Considering Kerrock

  • Kerrock DOES NOT need to be installed on top of substrate (substrates contain MDF Formaldehyde)
  • Kerrock DOES NOT require the use of sealants which contain Volatile Organic Compounds or VOC’s
  • Kerrock DOES NOT contain non-renewable resources such as granite, marble, etc
  • All by-products (waste created in the manufacturing process) can be added back into the manufacturing process
  • Kerrock has a low disposal frequency, because Kerrock is so durable the useful life before being replaced is longer than most surfaces
  • Kerrock is non-porous, non-absorbent making it resistant to bacterial growth
  • No off gassing of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s)
  • Kerrock surfaces are suitable for many re-uses in a long life cycle. We will accept used Kerrock for recycle and re-manufacturing

Kerrock was first produced by the Kolpa manufacturing company in 1990. Kolpa is located in the small town of Metika, Slovenia. Today, Lisac Kitchen and Bathroom is the exclusive distributor, fabricator and installer of Kerrock in the United States.

So what is Kerrock made of? Well, technically, it’s a composite of inorganic filler linked by the highest quality polymer acrylic, an acrylic comprised of acryl and aluminum hydroxide. Kerrock is quite simply one of the best materials of its kind. Installing Kerrock in your kitchen or bathroom beautifies your interior and at the same time gives you a durable, versatile surface as good as anything on the market.

Environmentally Friendly

Kitchens are often the heart of the home, where families and friends mingle. The goals of greening your kitchen should include natural lighting, good ventilation, low-toxicity finishes, energy- and water-efficient appliances, and surfaces that are durable, cleanable, and of course, aesthetically pleasing.
